We have a red flag here in Gasconade County

We are receiving a number of concerns about the smoke haze that is in the area. To our knowlede, these conditions are not connected with any emergency situation in Stone County and are beyond our control. Persons with respiratory issues should take precautions to protect themselves.
This time of year is the typical time frame for the US Forrest Service to perform prescribed burns.

The spruce trees at our house are feeling frisky, looks just like smoke 😆

The cedars are throwing pollen and it looks like smoke. Very bad today.

usfs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=b196b5958480421fa7b5ee2a6ce91d31 This is a map of controlled burns in Arkansas. They have a list almost daily.

Smoke and cedar pollen is bad today, mostly due to the season and control burns south of us. The wind is also terrible, blowing from the South where the burns are.

Thanx for the alert...I suspect the property mgr at my condo complex is adding to the smoke by burning leaves....
